Riding Lesson Information

At Pine Ridge Farm, our lesson program is designed to develop confident, knowledgeable riders in a supportive and safety-focused environment. We offer both English and Western riding instruction, allowing students to explore the discipline that best fits their interests and goals.

Each private lesson is $60 for a half-hour session. Students will learn how to properly groom, tack up, and care for their horse before riding, as well as cool down, unsaddle, and put equipment away afterward. We believe that understanding horse care is just as important as learning to ride, and we build that foundation into every lesson until riders are comfortable on their own.

What To Expect

We welcome both children (minimum age 6) and adults. Whether you are brand new to horses or returning after time away, our program meets you where you are. Lessons are structure to build confidence, responsibility, and independence while maintaining a strong emphasis on safety.

Who We Teach

We provide helmets and all necessary tack. Our well cared for horses are carefully selected for temperament and training to ensure a positive learning experience.
